EXCLUSIVE: Find out who is said to be the corpse of “Japinha de CV”.
During the act, a woman was caught red-handed. The criminal group has been identified as affiliated with the Commando Vermelho (CV) faction, which controls the area and is classified by authorities as narco-terrorists.
This work was the result of intelligence gathering and joint monitoring between the forces involved. Investigations revealed that the weapon left São Paulo’s Bras district and was headed for the capital of Rio.
Based on the information they received, the investigators launched an interception operation and approached the tourist bus at the Nangapi tax office in Itaciaia, south of Rio de Janeiro.
During the search, three cardboard boxes containing six pillows were found in the luggage compartment. Abnormal weight aroused suspicion.
When police opened the documents, they found 30 semi-automatic pistols of various calibers and 63 magazines carefully packaged and hidden inside cushions.
Destination: Complexo do Alemán
According to preliminary investigations, the arrested woman was hired by an intermediary to transport the arsenal to Rio de Janeiro, where app drivers collected the boxes and delivered them to the Complex do Alemão, where Comando Vermelho is based.
Police are currently investigating who financed and received the weapons and whether they are related to other recent seizures.
