The victim’s family and friends have taken to the streets to demand justice, as the crime of Agustín González, who was shot dead last Sunday in Tolosa, has yet to be arrested. Therefore, they are blocking the Buenos Aires-La Plata highway downbound at 520th Street.
Gonzalez’s relatives said that three days after the crime, “we still have no one in custody. We want answers.” “We want them to listen to us. We want justice and we want it to be in vain,” they added.
Mobilization began at 5:22, between 120:00 and 121:00, and they walked down the highway “with great respect.” There, amidst the hype and burning tires, they demand action for justice.

On Sunday, November 9th, a 22-year-old man was killed by two bullets while in La Plata with a friend. The friend had previously clashed with one of the attackers. According to a police report obtained by EL DIA, the victim, identified as Hugo Agustín Gonzalez, suffered two gunshot wounds to the back and head and was taken by private vehicle to Gutierrez Hospital. Despite the efforts of doctors, he died soon after.
The incident occurred at 118 and 521 in Tolosa. González was with a friend nicknamed “Mura,” and a source close to González said several men arrived at the scene looking for the friend because of an old dispute.
In the middle of the intersection, the victim allegedly took off the hat of one of the people present and handed it back to him. But a few minutes later, a man with the initials DMV (22), address 18, between numbers 530 and 531, returned with two other men and fired several shots at him.
When officers from the 6th Police Station arrived at the scene, they found neighbors throwing blunt objects, making it difficult for police to enter the scene. The case is classified as a homicide and is being handled by UFI 11 in La Plata de Álvaro Garganta. Marcela Garmendia’s Fifth Guarantee Court will also intervene.
The file required expert intervention and DDI’s cooperation in order to fully identify the author and seize evidence. No arrests have been reported at this time.
