On Tuesday (11/11), an 18-year-old man kidnapped his one-year-old son in Villa Rabelo, Sobradinho 2, and fled with the child into a forested area near the crime scene.
According to a report by the boy’s mother to the Civilian Police Force (PCDF), the couple had been living apart for about two months. The suspect showed signs of being under the influence of drugs when he took the child.
The man had previously made threats against his ex-partner. On one of those occasions, he allegedly said, “I’m going to end her life.”

During another fight, the boy snatched the baby from its mother’s lap and fled into a nearby wooded area. Father and son have been missing ever since.
The Military Police Department (PMDF) called out helicopters and vehicles in the incident. The search continues and the case will be investigated by the 35th Police Station (Sobradinho 2).
