Linkin Park made history in Brasilia on Tuesday night (11/11) with a breathtaking show at the BRB Mane Garrincha Arena. The performance marked the debut of the band’s new line-up in the capital, and the audience was overwhelmed with nostalgia and emotion.
Led by Mike Shinoda and new vocalist Emily Armstrong, the group reimagined generational hits. With each song, the crowd grew louder, turning the stadium into a celebration of Linkin Park’s memory and strength.

One of the most memorable moments of the night was when Shinoda came off the stage to interact with fans. Amid screams and cellphones, he returned the love by accepting a Brazilian flag and hoisting the gift in the arena.
The show is part of the band’s “From Zero” tour, which celebrates their album of the same name due for release in late 2024, and will include new songs such as “Two Faced” and “The Emptiness Machine.”
Before the main band, the audience was amazed by the intense performance of North American Poppy, who opened the night with a mix of pop and metal and captivated the audience with their vocal power.

Linkin Park is entering a new phase, with Emily Armstrong taking over the vocal duties after Chester Bennington, who passed away in 2017.

Formed in 1996, this North American band racked up a string of hits, amassed a legion of fans, and established themselves as one of the biggest names in global rock.
In an interview with big cityMike Shinoda and Emily Armstrong emphasized their love for the Brazilian people. “We love Brazil and always have a good time. The weather, the people, the food, it’s the perfect combination for us,” Mike joked.
