“What he (coach Ancelotti) wants most is to show the world what Brazil is. And I think we are trying more and more to have this very big impact on everyone. And just like Senegal, like any other team, we want to be on the field and show what Brazil is,” said the striker.
Still during the press conference, Cunha spoke about a group of players from the Brazilian team. According to him, the team is keen to achieve great things and demonstrate the team’s capabilities.
“It’s a good group. They’re young players with a lot of experience, many of them have already been in the national team, so they already feel what it’s like to lose, but they also feel what it means to win on other fronts. The ultimate goal is the World Cup and the winner wins the cup. This is a group that is hungry and wants to work hard and prove to the world what they are capable of,” commented the Manchester United player.
The Brazilian team will return to the field on Saturday (11/15) at 1pm (Brasilia time) to face Senegal at the Emirates Stadium in London. Another Tuesday (11/18) at 4:30pm (Brasilia time), they will face Tunisia at the Decathlon Arena in Lille, France.
