A truck crosses the road at the 44 km mark of Rodoanelle Mario Cobas (Rodoanel SP 021) in Itapecerica da Serra, São Paulo metropolitan area, completely blocking vehicular traffic in the area towards Rodovia Presidente Dutra.
According to information from the São Paulo State Transport Agency (Artesp), the driver of the car claimed to have been the victim of a robbery and subsequent kidnapping. He said the robbers forced him to cross the car on the road.
The driver was found unconscious and wrapped in homemade bomb wire.
Traffic jams in the area reached 15km/h around 7am.
