The 2026 investigation was one of the main reasons why former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) asked the STF to obtain an opinion from São Paulo Governor Tarcisio de Freitas (R) “as soon as possible”.
The request was made by Bolsonaro’s lawyers to STF Minister Alexandre de Moraes on Tuesday night (November 11), hours after the Paraná Pesquisas Institute released its findings on the 2026 presidential election.
