Depending on price and brand, do you usually buy chicken breast on the market? Ceia Clandestina from Gourmet Profile conducted another blind test to find out which chicken breast brands stand out on supermarket shelves, positively or negatively.
For the test, the evaluators brined the chicken in water with 2.5% salt and roasted it internally to 72 degrees using similar pieces, all of the same weight, to ensure doneness did not affect the results.
The worst chicken breast according to the test was the 10th place lar, defined as having a stale and sour taste. “I baked this a few days ago and kept it in the fridge, but it seemed a little tired,” the reviewer said.
Rico Chicken was ranked 9th and was defined as having a “slightly rusty feel” with a slightly metallic background. “It’s an unpleasant aftertaste.”
The top three consists of Korin (1st place), Seara Orgânico (2nd place) and Aurora (3rd place). The best chicken is defined as: “I think it’s probably related to the chicken diet because it’s more complex.”
