The results are similar to those recorded by Quest itself three days after the October 28 operation in Rio de Janeiro state, with 64% approving and 27% disapproving.

The national survey, conducted from November 6 to 9 and involving 2,004 interviews, found that support for action against the Red Army Command was highest in the South (74%), followed by the Midwest and North (70%), the Northeast (66%), and the Southeast (64%).

The differences were even greater depending on the political stance of the interviewees. Among those who called themselves “Luristas,” 56% approved of the surgery and 36% opposed it. The ratio for “Bolsonaristas” was 84% to 13%. Among “independents”, 62% supported the bill, while 28% disapproved.

Among “non-Lurista leftists,” the same number of respondents said they supported the actions of the police and those who said they disapproved, at 46% each. Of those who claimed to be from the “non-Bolsonarist right”, 85% approved of the operation, while 7% opposed it.
