Three men escaped this Wednesday morning (12/11) in Itapecerica da Serra, in the São Paulo metropolitan area, after tying the driver with explosive wire and forcing him out of the car across the Rodoanelle (SP-021). Information from the Sao Paulo State Transportation Agency (Artesp).
The driver of the vehicle reported being the victim of a robbery and subsequent kidnapping. The agency classifies the incident as “very serious.” The agency said the victim was unconscious and had homemade bomb wire wrapped around him.

Officers from the Special Tactical Action Group (Gate) arrived at the scene at 8:24 a.m. A military police Eagle helicopter is also flying over the scene.
The truck has been crossing the road since around 5:30 a.m. at the 44km mark in the outside lane of Rodoanelle Mario Cobas. Vehicles are completely prohibited from passing through the site in the direction of Rodovia Presidente Dutra. According to SPMar, the concession company that manages the expressway, the traffic jam is more than 20km long.
