US President Donald Trump has spoken out about new documents linking him to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, accusing Democratic politicians of rehashing the incident to “distract attention” from the domestic government shutdown with opposition support. The statement of the North American President was made this Wednesday (11/12) in a publication on the Truth social network.
“Democrats are trying to revive the Jeffrey Epstein hoax because they will do anything to distract from how bad the results have been with the government shutdown and many other issues,” the US leader wrote.
That’s why President Trump called on Republican lawmakers to “focus on just reopening the country.” This comes on the same day that the U.S. House of Representatives votes on a deal that could end the nation’s longest federal government shutdown.
The US President’s speech was based on the disagreement between Republicans and Democrats who blocked the approval of the budget proposal presented in the Senate.
As a result, since October 1, federal government services have been affected by resource shortages, causing significant damage to the country’s economy.

“I knew about the girl.”
This Wednesday morning, Democratic lawmakers released a new set of documents regarding Jeffrey Epstein, the former financier accused of maintaining a network of sexual exploitation of minors.
In a 2011 email exchange with his then-partner, Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein said the current US president “spent many hours” with one of his victims at his home.
Another message Mr. Epstein sent to composer Michael Wolff in 2019 claimed that Mr. Trump “knew about the girls” who were victims of sexual abuse.
