Botafogo defender Alexander Barboza surprised with an unusual tribute in Buenos Aires during the FIFA data break. El Antojo Nuñez, a restaurant the Argentine has frequented for years, served breaded steaks shaped in the shape of his face.

This special dish was created by the owner of a restaurant located in the Núñez district, near the Monumental de Núñez stadium. Barboza, an avowed fan of Milanese fries, visited the store while spending a few days in his hometown and ended up receiving the gift.

The Rio club issued a statement on Instagram, putting an end to the rumors.

In appreciation of this gesture, the defender presented the team with an autographed Botafogo jersey.
The relationship between El Antojo Nuñez and Botafogo is not new. During the 2024 Libertadores final, which the Rio club won over Atlético and MG, the restaurant became a gathering place for black and white fans from the Argentine capital, where it also served breaded steaks in the shape of the team’s shield.
