On Wednesday night, December 11, a 29-year-old man was shot and killed at his family’s bar in Itacuachesetuba, in the São Paulo metropolitan area. Police are investigating the identity of the suspect and the cause of the incident.
A security camera captured the incident. In the image, Everton Pesegueiro Vieira appears to be standing leaning against a pool table. The suspect got out of the silver car and walked toward the store. He takes at least four shots.

In a police report, Everton’s brother said the victim tried to run into a bar and the suspect chased him. However, Bruno and Wellington, the owner of the establishment, threw a bottle at the culprit, who fled.
“I lost everything”
- Everton was taken alive by his brothers to the Suzano emergency room, but he did not survive, the paper said.
- Before he died, he would have stated that the man had “already passed in the street” but would also have stated that he did not know the suspect.
- Wellington said the man yelled, “I’ve lost everything!” before shooting.
- None of the victim’s belongings were taken.
- The case was registered as a murder case at Itakuakesetuba Police Station.
