A few days before the second leg of the semi-finals, Deportivo Madryn and Deportivo Moron Aiming for the final to be promoted to Division 1, Argentina Football Association (AFA) He made the following decision: Gallo coach Walter Otta suspended for 30 dayssuspected of making statements against arbitration and the parent organization of Argentine soccer. Meanwhile, the club rejected the decision and issued a statement denying the alleged remarks.

During last weekend, when Moron beat Deportivo Madryn 1-0 in the first leg, and during the second leg, comments allegedly made by Otta targeting the AFA leadership went viral on social networks. “To go against Madeline would be to go against the horses of commissioners Tapia (association president) and Tovigino (treasurer).” the technical director would have expressed.

The AFA decided to suspend Otta because it deemed his comments to be “defamatory” with “derogatory or defamatory speech” towards the AFA. The group also noted that its technical director described agency officials as “people who have caused irreparable harm.”

Moron’s statement denying AFA’s accusations

Based on this determination, Otta will be unable to attend Puerto Madryn on Sunday at 5:15 p.m.when Moron visited Orinegro with the intention of reaching the final for a reduced team. For this reason, the club issued a statement on social networks in which it reported that its legal team is collecting evidence that the coach made the accused statements.

“We have the evidence, we have numerous legal experts, and we are completely confident that we can prove the evidence. What was reported by the ethics court is inconsistent with what happened and with the noble and honorable character of Walter Otta as a whole. “We will wait for justice and trust that each next step will be determined and that this situation will bring about a swift and positive outcome,” he said.

3 days ago Moron denied the remarks attributed to Otta. Declaring it fake news, he said: “We have an obligation to categorically deny this type of deplorable operation, which only taints the healthy and good competition that the Argentine Football Headquarters has been promoting since taking over the current management team led by Claudio Tapia.”

“We are aware of the existence of this type of operation that tarnishes and calls into question the football competition, with the professionalization marked by the world conquest of our third star player. We reject this act and express our gratitude to our President and Treasurer of the Argentine Football Association, Claus. Defending the honor of Mr. Dio Tapia and Mr. Pablo Tovigino. They work tirelessly every day for a more competitive football, a higher level, an absolute hierarchy and above all transparency and honesty ” of our history and current demands both nationally and globally. ”

At that time, Otta himself also shared a statement on social networksin which he claimed it was false news and threatened legal action. “There is a clear intention to create a strange atmosphere for next Sunday’s game. All I can do is categorically deny this error and non-existent statement,” he said.

Deportivo Madryn was already embroiled in controversy a few weeks ago in the curtailed quarter-finals. During a visit to Jujuy to play against Khimnasia, the match was suspended at halftime when the Chubut team was losing 1-0 after the local team’s president allegedly made threats against the shortlist of referees. The referee stopped the match and a few days later the AFA declared the match a 3-0 loss to Jujuy’s club.
