As part of the Blue November campaign, the month to prevent and fight prostate cancer, the Federal Public Defender’s Office (DPDF) will offer free services to vulnerable people next Tuesday and Wednesday (November 18 and November 19) from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of the National Library on Esplanada dos Ministerios.
In an event that brings together conflict resolution efforts and strengthens citizenship and self-respect, DPDF provides legal services, haircuts, snack distribution, alimony guidance, paternity recognition, and health services.
Celso Murilo de Britto, Head of the DPDF Special Advisor and Coordinator of the Quarta do Cidadão, commented that this project, which provides services on a regular basis, will be of great help in taking immediate action to those in need. “Each service provided represents a story that has changed, whether it’s the recognition of fathers, access to health care, or simply listening to those seeking guidance and respect.”
