A bus crash in Stockholm early this afternoon killed several people and left others stranded. Police confirmed that the vehicle crashed into a traffic stop in the center of the Swedish capital, but the cause of the accident is still under investigation. A police spokesperson said that although there was no information indicating an attack, the driver was detained and being investigated for murder as part of normal procedure in such cases.
A rescue service spokesperson confirmed to Reuters that five people were affected by the incident, but authorities would not say whether they were passengers or those who were replacing the children.

Local media reported that the bus was not running and there were no passengers at the moment of impact.
