Flamengo idol partners with Comlurb to take action
Flamengo idol Diego Rivas surprised students at the Roberto Burle Marx Municipal School in Rio de Janeiro’s West Zone. In an operation carried out in partnership with the Municipal Cleaning Company (Comlurb), former players disguised themselves as street sweepers. So he asked the kids to play a high-flying game before he took off his mask.
After the students discovered his disguise, Diego Rivas and his wife Bruna gave a speech to the young people. Therefore, he emphasized the importance of evaluating all professionals and preached how humility is fundamental in all areas of society. In fact, he recalled a situation when he was playing for Werder Bremen in Germany.
“When I came to Germany, I was 21 years old. When I went to the locker room to change the clothes I was playing in, my shirt was sweaty. I took it off and threw it next to the laundry basket. The wardrobe guy came and said, “Hey, take your shirt out and throw it in the laundry basket.” I said, “I won’t accept it.” The director said to me: “Diego, the work of the wardrobe begins with the laundry basket. Even the basket is your work and your duty. So do your part,” he said.
This is not the first campaign that Diego Rivas has partnered with Comlurb. After all, the former footballer had already taken part in an awareness campaign about garbage collection in September, and also in another Artinha, where he interacted with beachgoers.
