This week I saw Katy Perry in concert and… How perfectly executed! it is show woman can’t believe it. It has it all: great songs, charisma, a perfect show, and a story to tell.
Perry knows a lot about breakups. When I saw her appear on stage at Movistar Arena, I was reminded of her documentary. part of me. It showed her breaking down in tears in her dressing room after receiving a farewell text from her then-partner Russell Brand – not exactly funny for a comedian. She cried for 5 minutes, took a breather for 2 minutes, put on a wig…and went out to sing with a smile on her face. A few years later, a breakup with Orlando Bloom also got him into touring. I was moved when I saw her sing bandagehis last song dedicated to Pirates of the Caribbean. Examples of brilliance and pop resilience: Suffering, yes, but. eyeliner Perfect. That’s why Katie fascinates me. In a world where no one is ready to say goodbye, She turns goodbye into choreography. And that’s not all.
There was a lot of talk this week about Javis’ breakup. It looked like love wrapped in success, and they were absolutely complicit. But even the strongest connections change. and nothing happens. Or yes, but you learn. Sometimes life shows us that “eternity” is a beautiful concept…but not realistic.
And in between a lot of temporary drama, The mind begins to understand that letting go does not mean giving up.. Recognizing that we are no longer the same is also growing, and sometimes that involves letting go of those who are no longer walking in the same direction as you. Not all stories are designed to last a lifetime. Some things last long enough to change us.
That’s why Katy Perry doesn’t go bankrupt. She reinvents herself. The ending is heartbreaking, but another song begins immediately after. That’s why it’s better to drop it, but it’s shiny.
