The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) has learned through the System for Rapid Exchange and Coordination of Information (SCIRI) that the following warning notice has been sent by the health authorities of Navarra: listeria monocytogenes Aged blended cheeses made from raw sheep and cow’s milk from the brands Beialdi, Agort, Udabe and Eroski, available in different batches and expiration dates.
According to available information, the initial distribution was to autonomous communities in the Basque Country, Navarre, Castile-La Mancha and Aragon, but “redistribution to other autonomous communities cannot be ruled out.”
This information was forwarded to the competent authorities of the Autonomous Community to ensure that the affected products were removed from marketing channels.
