It is worth remembering that in July 2025, during the morning meeting of Claudia Sheinbaum, she announced a project to expand the service of trolleybus line 11 to Ixtaparka, initially specifying that the length of the corridor would be 11.3 kilometers.

According to SICT, the “Ixtaparka Trolleybus Comprehensive Project”, in addition to the execution of implementation projects covering all the necessary specializations and specializations, also considers the execution of civil and electromechanical works along the planned route of the new line.
The Ixtaparka trolleybus route starts from the current intersection.
