The Pilgrim statue of Mare de Deu will visit the town of Benetssel next weekend to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Brotherhood of St. John. Our Lady of the Powerless of the town.
The organization that organized this visit was … The Diocese of Nuestra Senora del Socorro and the local town hall encourage all the faithful to take part in “a very special and emotional day to celebrate a special and historic procession in which, for the first time, the Brotherhoods belonging to the nearby municipalities will rise from the mud of Dana and unite in Holy Communion”.
The image will look like this received on fridayAt 4 p.m., students, authorities and members of the fraternity will hold an event to welcome the patron saint at the Nuestra Senora del Socorro Parish School. She has since been transferred to a municipal senior housing facility, and a Mass in her honor will be held at the parish at 7 p.m.
At 10 p.m., a vigil will begin at the same Nuestra Senora del Socorro temple with local youth.
he Saturdaythe statue of the patron saint visits the municipal cemetery and presides over the recitation of the rosary. It also receives compliments from merchants as it passes through the Municipal Market and ends its journey in the Town Hall Square, where it is exhibited for the veneration of associations, fraternities and Fajas committees.
1 p.m. The images will be delivered to the Nuestra Senora del Socorro Board of Education at 5 p.m. A solemn mass will be celebrated in the temple.
of matrix Held at 6 p.m., the mares leaving the shrine will walk through the streets of the town together with members of the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Dessembarrados in Benetuxelles and representatives of the Brotherhood of other Dana-influenced municipalities.
he SundayOn the last day of the visit, a children’s offering will be made at the temple in front of the statue of the patron saint, and at noon an election Mass will be celebrated, presided over by Monsignor Arturo Javier García, auxiliary bishop of Valencia.
