Federal highway police officer Thiago Demetrius da Silva Brito died this Wednesday (12/12) after taking part in an elite physical examination in Sergipe. He fell ill while undergoing the Test of Physical Fitness (TAF), part of a course conducted by the Caatinga Battalion of the Gendarmerie Sergipe. The test took place in Aracaju on Monday (10/11). The officer was taken to the hospital, but his life could not be saved.
He joined the Federal Road Police (PRF) in 2014 and was stationed in the city of San Cristovan. During his police career, Thiago played prominent roles in units such as the Rapid Response Group and the Special Operations Unit.
