Lisandro Olmos, a 49-year-old farmer, is the target of a violent robbery that leaves his chains broken, his house in complete disarray destroyed, and all his pets killed, possibly with poison. The newspaper has learned that he had gone out the night before and returned to find the door forced shut and “everything thrown open”, along with a parked truck with little fuel and several valuables missing.
The intruders carried out acts of violence that suggested premeditation, with no witnesses present. After feeding the contaminated food, the subjects waited patiently until they saw the animal collapse. It was at that moment that they began their criminal mission: selecting, transporting and loading objects. They took the washer, dryer, four covers, and the vehicle, leaving the scene with disorder and an emotional impact on the owner.
With no cameras or a suspect description, the investigation was based on minimal evidence and the incident was classified as an aggravated robbery.
