Who was who in the Attorney General’s trial?

A sitting state attorney general, the head of the public ministry, sat on the court for the first time.

Especially since the Supreme Court confirmed Garcia Ortiz. That’s because he refused to resign despite demands from many political and legal positions.

The government supports Garcia-Ortiz, who faces up to six years in prison and disqualification.

The defendant tried to end his statement with a phrase he claimed was told to him just before the interrogation by someone he didn’t know: “The truth is not leaked, it is protected.”

In response, Alberto García Ortiz’s lawyer, on duty, called the ruling “Machiavellian.”

When Garcia Ortiz declared himself under investigation at the Supreme Court last January, he chose to wear a blue tie with small reddish scales, a symbol of justice.

Throughout his six trials, he has worn a black tie to match his state attorney general’s robes, as required by protocol.
