Husband’s penis cut off: woman says she’s forgiven, demands freedom
The Ministry of Public Affairs of São Paulo (MPSP) expressed support for the measures sought by Diane’s defense, arguing that she had already served one-third of her sentence and had shown good behavior in prison.
The crime for which she was arrested was committed on December 22, 2023. That night, after finding out that her boyfriend of two years, 40-year-old app driver Gilberto Nogueira de Oliveira, was cheating on her, Diane cut off his penis. She threw the organ into the toilet, flushed it, and turned herself in to the police station.
Diane, known as Dai by those close to her, was pardoned by Gilberto, known as Tony, while still in prison. He helped pay for a lawyer to defend her, and the couple are now planning a wedding despite mistrust among friends and family.
