Javier Clemente, former coach of the Spanish national team at the 1994 and 1998 World Cups, has criticized Barcelona star Lamine Yamal. The former manager said in an interview that the number 10’s personal life could be a hindrance to his career.
“As a player he’s very good, but the problem is… In his personal life, he does not behave correctly as an athlete. it won’t last long. That’s obvious. They won’t allow it,” Cremene told Spanish radio station Cadena SER.

Yamal’s personal life has been the subject of controversy in Spain. In July, the player was accused of employing people with dwarfism for recreational and recreational purposes, which is prohibited in Spain.
The most recent controversy regarding Yamal was his dismissal from the Spanish team. The attacker was treated for pubodynia (pain in the symphysis pubis) on Monday (10/11), on which day the attacker was scheduled to play for the national team.
The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that Barcelona notified only after the formalities were completed.

For Clemente, Yamal also requires attention in terms of his playing style. According to the former Spain national team coach, opponents know the way he plays, making it easier for him to make wasteful plays and even get fouled.
“He does great things, but the rivals already know how he plays and know how to observe him. They know that he is one of the players who will not be allowed to play, because he has such quality that he can do a lot. He will be given very special marking and monitoring,” Clemente declared.
