The results of the Unified National Convention (CNU) will be announced this Wednesday (12th). Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), the committee in charge of the second competition, will publish the final results of the objective test and invite candidates to take the discursive test.
- CNU1: Government publishes updated waiting list
- Announcement regarding Caixa 2025: Registration begins today for the competition with 184 higher education institutions
How can I check my CNU 2025 results?
The results can be viewed at the link https://conhecimento.fgv.br/cpnu2. From there, candidates can access the monitoring page to see where their exam will be held, as well as whether they will take the second stage of the test.
What is the CNU 2025 written test date?
An essay test is scheduled for that day. December 7, 2025from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
How do CNU scores work?
To pass the discourse test, candidates must score at least 40% correct answers. This means correctly marking 36 out of 90 questions in blocks 1 to 7.
The maximum number of correct answers for the general knowledge test is 30. In addition, there are 12 questions for each theme, and the number of correct answers for specialized knowledge is a maximum of 60 questions in total.
For higher level positions (blocks 1-7), the score for a particular knowledge test is calculated using a weighted final grade (NFP), which is calculated by multiplying the number of correct answers on each axis by the weight for this axis (e.g., number of correct answers on axis 1 x weight on axis 1).
To understand better, let us take Block 2 — Culture and Education as an example. This is a compilation of five thematic axes. 1) Knowledge management and communication. 2) Public education policy. 3) Public cultural policy. 4) Research. 5) Evaluation.
For the Social Communication Technician position assigned to Naval Command (CM) in the Ministry of Defence, Axis 1 and Axis 4 questions have a weight of 3 and are therefore more valuable. Those on axis 5 have weight 2, everything else has weight 1.
Now just multiply the hits on axis 1 and 4 by 3, the hits on axis 5 by 2, and the other hits by 1, just like you would do in a calculator.
In this same block, the position of cultural researcher assigned to the Palmares Cultural Foundation (FCP) has a weight of 4 on axis 3 (public cultural policy). Axis 4 (Research) has a weight of 3 and the other axes have a weight of 1.
In other words, candidates applying for these two vacancies could choose multiple position options during registration, as long as they were within the same competitive block, but could achieve different scores for each of these choices.
To check the weight table of thematic axes by organization, position and specialty, candidates should search the notification available on the FGV portal.
The final grade for the test is calculated from the sum of the objective test grade (NPO) + the discourse test grade (NPD) + the title assessment grade (if applicable).
- Objective evidence: Considering the theme axis, 90 questions divided into 30 general knowledge questions worth 30 points and 60 specialized knowledge questions worth 120 points.
- Discursive test: 2 questions, 22.5 points each, up to 45 points total.
- Title test: Up to 5 points.
- total: 200 points.
One of the main novelties of the second edition of CNU is the creation of gender equality standards to increase the presence of women in public services. The regulations state that at least 50% of candidates for stage 2 examinations must be women.
The notification details that if for each position or specialty, the number of candidates classified in the second stage is less than 50%, women approved in the first stage will also be included until this percentage is reached. The idea is to ensure that more women have the opportunity to advance competitively.
It is important to emphasize that this initiative is not intended to harm male candidates. The notification clarifies that participants previously classified in Tier 2 will not be disqualified on the basis of gender balance.
As a general rule, candidates for the second stage are selected nine times the number of vacancies for each position. In order to comply with gender equality standards, the number of people selected for the second phase may be higher.
Moreover, as long as there are enough female candidates who meet the minimum score to not be disqualified from the competition, i.e., at least 40% correct, the parity rules will be respected.
