30 workers lost their lives by September, 13 fewer than in 2024

Serious accidents decrease

Accidents caused by sick leave fell by 1.9% in the first nine months of this year to a total of 458,570, of which 393,510 occurred at work (-2.4%) and 65,060 were “on-the-go” accidents (those occurring on the way from home to work or vice versa), an increase of 1.5% year-on-year.

According to labor statistics, serious accidents during working hours fell by 1.1% to a total of 2,803 by September, while serious “on-the-business” accidents fell by 12.8% to 689.

Minor accidents at work decreased by 2.4% to a total of 390,271, while accidents classified as minor ‘while on business’ increased by 1.7% to 64,260.
