His entry into the music world was in 2023. Since then, he has released more than 47 songs, reached almost 3 million views on YouTube, and performed live with Las Pastillas del Abuelo (September 2024), among others.
“My first steps into music were usually slower than most artists. It wasn’t until I was 55, after a very intense professional life as a lawyer and writer, that I realized that there was a part of me that had yet to be expressed.. The music came almost suddenly, without any plan. It emerged as essential,” says Jorge.

And he declares: “I didn’t come from a music school or have a childhood surrounded by instruments. My entry into the world of music was from the most honest place possible: performing. Singing and playing the guitar at the same time, without any prior technique, just the emotional urge to say what I wanted to say.”
That starting point defined his style. A song born from living, not from imagination. From experience, not from fiction. And so began what would become an artistic project with amazing rapid growth.
Along with the rock influences of bands like The Police, Soda Stereo, Lata Blanca, and American Folk, their music also includes an indirect but crucial influence: literature. “Now that I’ve published over 55 books, I can’t write a song without it feeling like a story,” he warns.

All of these were recorded in acoustic format, with visual and sound settings designed to center what’s most important: the lyrics. “I created songs from my own life experiences. I don’t start with fiction, but with what I’ve experienced, and that method makes the process intuitive, direct and emotionally true,” Jorge explains.
This acoustic live session is a message in itself. “Each of these eight songs contains a life lesson, a piece of my personal history, and an observation that anyone can relate to,” he declares.
“This is not a show aimed at visual impact. It’s a real space where the words live and the music gives each phrase emotional weight. The message is simple: we all have moments that need to be told, and music is the purest place to do it,” he emphasizes.
In a nutshell he describes it as follows:It’s an acoustic encounter that marries rock and American folk in a stripped-down, warm and emotional version. Each topic is 35 minutes, unfiltered, expressing the strength of simplicity and depth of experience.”.
