On Tuesday (11/11), approximately 100 students at the Juazeiro (BA) campus of the Federal University of Vale de San Francisco (Univasf) reported symptoms of food poisoning after eating lunch at the university’s restaurant. Following the complaint, the facility launched an investigation to investigate allegations of fraud in the food supply.
Univasf reported that the University Restaurant Coordination Office and the university’s nutrition technology team were made aware of a suspected “outbreak of fatigue and gastrointestinal infection.” The agency also acknowledges that what happened is serious and has a potential impact on the health of our community.
