Osasco defeated Malinga, but lost his leadership in average points. View classification

Osasco San Cristovan Saude maintained its unbeaten record in the 2025/26 Women’s Volleyball Super League by defeating Sancor Maringa in three sets to one (25-17, 25-19, 12-25, 25-22 split) on Thursday night (November 13) at Ginacio Chico Neto in Maringa (PR). 5th round of rounds.

The only teams unbeaten in the competition so far are Osasco with 14 points from five games, Gerdau Minas with 14 points and Cesc RJ Flamengo with nine points from three games. However, Luisomar de Moura’s team lost the lead to Minas in terms of average points. See the complete classification below.

After easily winning the first two sets, Osasco won the third set 25-12 as Malinga improved her ball rotation and closed the gap.

The Parana State women’s team also got off to a good start in the fourth set, winning 5-1. Osasco improved his block/defense ratio and effectively started counterattacking, changing the score to 11-10. The game remained even until the end, with the São Paulo women’s team clinching the victory, finishing the set 25-22.

North American winger Katie was the game’s top scorer with 18 points and won the Vivavorei Trophy. The highlight for Malinga was Gabi Candido, who had 17 hits.

Osasco will face Paulistano Barueri again next Monday (11/17) in a rematch of this year’s Paulista semi-final, where the Barueri team advanced to the state finals. The match will take place at 9:30 p.m. at Jose Liberati Gym. Maringa will host Sesc RJ Flamengo on Tuesday (11/18) at 9:30pm at the Xico Neto Gym.
