The success of Tremenbe on Prime Video, which became one of the biggest phenomena of 2025, spurred a wave of speculation about a possible season 2. And although nothing has been confirmed, author Ulises Campbell said: big city Which criminals have already been “planted” in the plot and may get more space in the sequel.
Ulisses said some characters were strategically inserted just to pave the way for new episodes. “We’ve saved some characters in case there’s a sequel, but nothing is certain,” he said.
Among the names he mentioned are well-known figures in police news, such as Pimenta Neves, Gil Lugay, and Lindenberg Alves, the man responsible for Eloa’s kidnapping. They all appear sparingly in the first season, but according to the author, this is no coincidence.
“We see that there are a lot of characters, important characters in place. People are already aware of it. Pimenta Neves is there, Gil Lugay is there… Lindenberg is there too. These people are there.”
The choice to leave the results open was also designed precisely to preserve space for expansion. “Our intention was to leave this ending open for debate. It’s hard to bring closure to a story where the characters live in real life. This story has no end.”
Despite the potential of the story and the public’s enthusiasm, Ulisses insists there is no formal decision yet. “What I know for sure right now is that we haven’t confirmed whether we’re going to make a second season. If you ask me if I want it, I’ll say, ‘I want it.’ But it’s not up to me to decide.”

The series is inspired by Ulisses’ Elise Matsunaga: The Woman Who Dismembered Her Husband and Suzanne: Assassin and Manipuladora. The author has already published Tremenbe and is preparing a new volume for 2026, but these titles did not serve as the basis for production. However, as the story progresses, the available material expands.
