The 44-year-old man, who was arrested this Wednesday (12/11), threatened to kill his ex-partner and hurled several insults at the victim after he refused to accept the end of their relationship. The crime occurred in Aguas Lindas (GO), which surrounds the Federal District.

In another moment of threat, he commented that he was going to buy a gun. “In order to solve my life problems, I will spend 5,000 reais and instead of buying furniture, I will buy a .38 (revolver).”
According to Tamírez Teixeira, head of the Civil Police of Goiás (PCGO) and head of the Deam Police Department in Aguas Lindas, the victim filed a police report after the separation, as the perpetrator began persecuting her, her mother, and her brother starting at 3 a.m. on Wednesday (12/11) by sending them audio and messages with insults and death threats.

“The author was captured and during interrogation, he confessed to sending the audio because he could not control his emotions due to alcohol problems and could not accept the outcome,” said representative Tamirez Teixeira.
Detective Chief Inspector Aguas Lindas said the author had already appeared before police for the same crime against another woman and would be defending charges of intimidation and harm committed in the context of domestic violence.
