After a period of isolation to maintain mental health, Aline Rosa You will return with a project that reflects your self-awareness, energy, and new creative phase. The new album, which marks the artist’s debut as a music director and producer, will be released in two parts. The first single was released this Thursday (14th).

“I had a moment in quarantine where I looked inward, but as I started to return to normalcy, I wanted to show a little bit of my experiences, what I was listening to, what I was referencing. That’s where the idea for the new album of music came from. For the first time, all the writing is mine, and I’m also producing it, so it was great to see all the details that were in my head come to life in the studio,” he told GLOBO.

Aline emphasizes that this work reflects not only her personal experience, but also her search for brightness and identification with the public. “This is an album about what I’ve been through, but it’s so much more than that. I wanted to make it in a way that people can relate to, without it being corny. And I sing about self-awareness, self-care, and self-love in a way that I believe is light,” he says.

Known for the energy of her ax and electric trio, the singer explores new sounds such as samba pop and reggae without losing the essence of Bahian music.

“What inspired me was the desire to combine the different things I listen to into one work. I listen to everything from music from Minas Gerais to music from Korea and Japan. I have different references from all over the world. They all influenced me in some way and they all saved me,” he explains. She assures us that the second half of the album will feature five more carnival tracks, perfect for Salvadoran and Brazilian festivals.

One of the songs already released is called “Wagner Moura”, which pays homage to Bahian actors and the essence of the city.

“Wagner is a source of great pride for us Baihi people and for Brazilians in general. One fine day I was scrolling through the news about him and it occurred to me: ‘Why not write a song named after Wagner Moura?'” I started digging into his story, looking at where he was born, his movie lines, everything. I wanted lyrics that spoke not only about him, but also about the essence of Bahia sauce, the Salvador you asked.” And he remembered it well enough. I made this song in one night, took it to my partner and said, “Please tell me if I’m crazy or if this song is good (lol)” and everyone loved it. ” he says.

This album is also a milestone in her career, as Aline took on the role of producer and carefully monitored every creative detail.

“Wow, there were so many lessons, so many layers. I’m so happy with this role because I live music completely. This process is a joy and gives me so much confidence, creating a song from scratch. I’ve never had an experience like this before. I go to sleep thinking and wake up and do it. It was incredible,” she exclaims.

For the summer of 2026 and Carnival, the singer promises joy and celebration. “The second part, both Salvador’s Carnival and Brazil’s Carnival, is all about celebration, joy and fun. The schedule is very busy, but it is a special moment for us. We reconnect with the public and get emotional. On my block, in addition to Popcorn Trio and Box, we have Broco do Vale, which is sold out every year. We have a history of 21 years and I believe that with these songs we will create many special memories of the trio.”

Vulnerability and empowerment

Aline has always been open about the challenges she has faced, especially depression, and views vulnerability as an artistic tool.

“Before being an artist, as a human being, I find myself very vulnerable. And that’s how I want to be. I like deep relationships and I want to really connect with the person I’m talking to. It’s the same with music. After opening up to talk about mental health, I felt so accepted by my fans. They understood why I wasn’t around as much: my ‘disappearance.’ I believe that vulnerability really connects, it’s almost like a hug from a distance. ” he assesses.

The project also strengthens the connection with fans, bringing bright and lighthearted sounds with messages of empowerment and compassion.

“I have a very loyal audience that has followed me for many years, and I also have a new audience that resonates with my story and my ideas. I believe they will understand what I wanted to convey, just as I understood it when I released Axé earlier this year.I received messages from many people saying that this song helped them in some way.

female representative

Staying true to her purpose of inspiring women and celebrating the strength of women, Aline says, “I’m so proud to see so many artists and strong women shine, become more empowered, and do what they want to do in their lives and careers. I just want to say their names. I have a song called “Bem,” and it’s about my inner child, my girl, speaking to me, reminding me to take care of myself, and being proud of myself. Tell her, we often forget, right? That’s why I believe my album is such a great expression, and I feel like a superwoman for putting so much effort into it, producing it, and writing it.”

Authenticity in every note

As you experiment with different rhythms and experiment with different sounds, the guiding principle remains the same: authenticity.

“There’s no point in running away from who you are. I don’t think that’s going to work. It feels bad to do something you don’t like, so it feels authentic. If you’re passing through other genres, it’s because you identify with those genres in a way,” Aline points out.

balance and motivation

At this moment, Align celebrates the beginning of a phase full of possibilities, creativity and freedom of expression.

“This moment of living with more strength than I’ve felt in a long time is what keeps me motivated. I’m always breathing music, always taking notes and sketching ideas. That look of endless possibility makes me feel like my career is starting from scratch. My support network is strong and helps me sort out what to do and what not to do, because ‘not doing’ is also important to maintaining balance. “Sometimes the excitement can be so high that you want to do everything, and that’s when a support network becomes essential,” he concludes.
