In the absence of relevant economic data in Brazil and the United States, market participants will need to keep an eye on new speeches from Federal Reserve officials, above all, for clues about the direction of U.S. monetary policy.

FGV releases IGP-10 for November – At 8:00 a.m., the Brazilian Institute of Economic Research Getulio Vargas Foundation (Ibre-FGV) reports the General Price Index-10 (IGP-10) for November, calculated between October 11 and November 10 of this year. The IGP-10 rose 0.08% in October after registering a 0.21% rise in September. This result puts the index down 0.98% for the year and up 1.60% over the past 12 months.
FGV releases October labor market survey – The Getulio Vargas Foundation (Ibre-FGV), the Brazilian economic research institute, releases its labor market survey for October at 8 a.m. The fourth edition of the Labor Quality Indicators of the FGV Ibre Labor Market Survey covers perceptions and expectations about the Brazilian labor market.
IBGE releases continuous Pnad for Q3 2025 – The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) will present at 9 a.m. the National Continuing Sample Survey of Households (Pnad) for the third quarter of 2025. Brazil’s unemployment rate reached 5.8% in the second quarter of 2025, the lowest since 2012. This decline was observed in 18 of 27 states.
IBGE Announces Regional Account System for 2023 – The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) will present at 10 a.m. the Regional Economic Accounting System for 2023, created in cooperation with the National Statistical Institute, the State Secretariat and Sfurama, the supervisory authority of the Manaus Free Zone.
Kansas City Federal Reserve President also attended the event. – At 12:05 pm (Brasilia time), Kansas City, Federal Reserve President Jeffrey Schmidt will participate in the event.
Dallas Federal Reserve President gives speech – Dallas Federal Reserve President Rory Logan will speak at 4:30 p.m. (Brasilia time).
Atlanta Fed President speaks at event – Atlanta Federal Reserve President Rafael Bostic will speak at the event at 5:20pm (Brasilia time).
Lula attends the investiture ceremony – President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva met with the President’s personal cabinet, Marco Aurelio Marcora, at 9:30 a.m. At 3:00 p.m., he will participate in the National Order of Merit in Education Ceremony at the International Convention Center of Brazil (CICB).
STF concludes appeal hearing for Bolsonaro and other defendants in coup plot – The Federal Supreme Court (STF) has concluded the appeal hearing of former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) and six other defendants convicted of coup plotting in September.
First panel of STF analyzes charges against Eduardo Bolsonaro – The First Panel of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) begins the analysis of the complaint filed against Federal Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) on the grounds of coercion. He would have opposed the authorities investigating, prosecuting and trying former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) for his alleged participation in a coup plot. The virtual analysis begins at 11 a.m. and runs until November 21.
Haddad receives medal – Finance Minister Fernando Haddad will be nominated as a member of the National Order of Merit in Education at 3:00 p.m. at the International Convention Center of Brazil (CICB).
Garipolo will be sent domestically to Brasilia – Central Bank (BC) Governor Gabriel Garipolo will only be posted internally to Brasilia.
B.C. board members attend meeting with economists – Mr. Diogo Abri Guillén, Director of the Central Bank’s Economic Policy Department, participated in the 101st Quarterly Economists’ Meeting in two parts. At 2 p.m., Bank of America will hold a public hearing with investors to discuss its economic situation. At 9:00 a.m., Regulatory Director Gilles New Vivant will attend a public hearing on regulatory issues with representatives of the Brazilian Bankers Association (ABBC) in São Paulo. Isabella Correa, Director-General (Human Relations, Citizenship and Conduct Supervision), will only be posted internally in Basel (Switzerland). Nilton José Schneider David, director of monetary policy, will meet with Verde Asset economists Everton Santos and Kaian Oliveira at the Central Bank in São Paulo at 8:30 a.m. to discuss the economic situation. I will then participate in two separate sessions at the 101st Quarterly Economist Conference. At 2:00 p.m., we will meet with Cristiano Oliveira, Director of Economic Research. Finance Director Ronaldo Silvestre, Banco Pine Managing Directors Noberto Pinheiro Jr., Clive Botelho and Rodrigo Pinheiro will respond to the economic situation. At 3 p.m., there will be a meeting with Parcitas Instrumentos economists Angelo Delamare, Bernardo Braganza, Vitor Martello and Giulia Motta. Paulo Piketty, Director of International Affairs and Corporate Risk Management, will participate in the 101st Quarterly Meeting of the Economists in two parts. Coach Renato Gomez will only be dispatched within Rio de Janeiro. Director Rodrigo Teixeira (Administration) will be speaking at the Rift Data Breakfast at Casa BID – Green Zone at COP 30 in Belém from 8:30 am. From 2:00 p.m., he will attend the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30). Director Ayrton de Aquino Santos will be dispatched internally to Sao Paulo.
