“For best results, use antiperspirant at night,” says the International Hyperhidrosis Society (IHS). “At night, you produce less sweat. Using it at night gives the antiperspirant’s active ingredients time to penetrate your pores overnight, blocking sweat when the sun comes up and you start moving.”
You can reapply in the morning, but making sure the product stays in place while you sleep will give you the best results the next day.
