Bar Bukowski, home of the city’s rockers, is celebrating its 28th anniversary this Friday with a series of public entertainment, special drink promotions, raffles and more. The evening promises to fill the historic mansion on Avenida Álvaro Ramos in Botafogo with a live show by the band Perdidos na Selva and the presence of DJs who have been part of Bukowski’s long history, including the famous DJ Marcao and DJ King, who will command the dance floor throughout the night.
The gala will also feature a series of prizes for the public, with 28 VIPs being drawn into the mansion for free throughout the year. Lucky Roulette, where participants spin the wheel to win gifts. The award-winning karaoke awards a “gift certificate” to the best singer of the night, taking into account performance, costume, dancing and attitude of the artist.
The bar will also promote fun actions to commemorate the date, such as photo totems, for those who want to record and take home memories of this legendary night. A pool table for gaming adventurers to challenge themselves. The bar wall is open to anyone who wants to write a message on the bar’s history. A traveling tequereiro who distributes “liquid joy” to lift everyone’s spirits. And the traditional all-together toast is the classic and most iconic moment of the night, with everyone in attendance toasting together, glasses rising in the air, and energy soaring.
To make the party even more exciting, the house will be serving double doses of Caipi Vodka and offering beer bucket promotions until 10 p.m.
