Boninho, who left Globo to start producing the competition’s reality show, is now planning to take one of the Rio conglomerate’s former presenters to a new opportunity at Record. According to columnist Flavio Ricco, the director is looking for a name that viewers will recognize as the leader of the station’s new show, “A Casa do Patrão.”
One of them would be Andre Marquez. The presenter and DJ has been one of the main faces of Globo’s entertainment programs in recent years, including the now-canceled video show, The Voice Kids and Superstars, The Voice Brasil, where he appeared on SBT with Boninho, and E de Casa.
The DJ and former actor left Globo about three years ago, but remains connected to the station’s main personalities as co-host of GNT’s Angelica show. However, negotiations are still not 100% complete.
The director was also considering socialite Narcisa Tamborindegi and two other former international names who were the subject of family controversy recently.

Presenters Rafa Brites and Felipe Andreoli, who recently arrived at Record to lead power couple Brasil, are also seen as possible candidates for Boninho’s new program. It is also worth highlighting that the couple would have won the director’s favor after giving a satisfactory result in the love reality show.
“A Casa do Patrão”, which is scheduled to appear on the Record schedule next year, is promised to be included in the reality show catalog of the A Fazenda 17 broadcaster. This daily program is said to be a combination of BBB and Grand Conquista and will have similar dynamics to the program led by Adrian Galisteu.
Three new facilities will be built for the reality show at the Record recording complex: a boss’s house and an employee’s house. The series is currently in partnership with Disney+ and is scheduled to air from April to July 2026.
