The São Paulo Football Federation (FPF) has decided on the dates for the 2026 Paulista Championship, which has been shortened to 11 dates, in accordance with the new calendar of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).
Pauliston will adopt a competition model similar to the Champions League. Each club will compete within their own group and play five further rounds against other pot opponents, making a total of eight matches played in the first phase.
The eight best teams in the campaign will advance to the knockout stage, which will be played in one game. The two worst teams will be relegated to Series A-2.

This Tuesday (11/11), FPF drew the first phase matches at an event held at the Mercado Libre Arena Pacaembu. The organization also announced that semi-automatic offside technology will be used from the quarter-finals onwards.
The federation also determines the order of games and the schedule of games.
