The La Plata criminal magistrate is seeking the perpetrators of the murder of a 22-year-old man, identified as Agustín González, who was attacked in the El Churrasco neighborhood of Tolosa early on Monday morning, but reliable sources confirmed to this newspaper that the death was due to hypovolemic shock caused by the passage of a firearm projectile into the skull.
Undoubtedly, the method of murder reflected in the forensic report highlighted the ferocity of the criminal, who executed the victim without being able to resist, call for help, or escape.
The same spokesperson said he was hit by another round of gunfire, hitting him in the spine from back to front and from bottom to top.
Sources revealed that it all started just after 11:30 p.m. Neighbors called 911 Sunday to report a boy lying injured in the street.
A police vehicle attempted to approach but was forced to retreat due to the hostility of the scene. Officers retreated and called for backup as an agitated crowd threw objects and bottles at officers.
Minutes later, the hospital reported the admission of a young man who had sustained a gunshot wound and died despite attempts to resuscitate him.
The victim was recognized by his father, who appeared before police visibly shaken.
The man indicated that his son was on the street with friends that night and provided contact information for one of them, a 21-year-old man. This man was the one who recreated the scene just before the attack for the authorities.
According to his testimony, which is already part of the file, González was seen talking to a young man nicknamed “Mura” on numbers 118 and 521.
At that moment, three large motorcycles appeared. Upon becoming aware of the group, the “mura” ran towards his home, but González remained where he was and got into an argument with one of the newcomers.
During the verbal exchange, González allegedly snatched the motorcyclist’s hat after the motorcyclist warned him, “You don’t know who you touched,” according to data collected by investigators.
The assailant then left, but returned a few minutes later, always on a motorcycle and this time armed, and fired at least four shots, two of which hit González.
The young man fell to the ground as his attackers fled at full speed. Neighbors put him in their car and took him to the hospital, but it was too late and the bullet was fatal.
The case is being handled by the UFI in Álvaro Garganta, and statements are being taken to obtain accurate information about those who took part in the tragic ambush. Pain and the most alarming desire for revenge remained at the scene of the crime.
