“PSOE and Vox are different frequencies, but they have the same tone.”

Opposition? Lepulo observes that both PSOE and Vox are adversaries in their origins and ideological postulates, already playing the same score and sounding similar melodies, but on different frequencies. Its aim is to end the stability of autonomous communities through radicalism for some and lies for others. And that strategy includes setting his aspirations within the framework of the region and using such leadership to wear down and weaken a president who is unable to even think about potential successors.

– Last Sunday, Mr. Nuñez Feijó pointed out at the party’s regional conference that one can govern calmly, without fanaticism, and at the same time be resolute and powerful. Is it an adaptation of the Andalusian way?

-You were always talking about that model because it is a successful model. Not just for electoral support, but because Andalusia is actually better. It can be seen in a wide space where it is possible to measure how society is progressing: in employment, business creation, self-employment, exports… autonomous communities that are progressing like never before in the social field. From an economic and social point of view, although economic growth has been rapid and taxes have fallen accordingly, there is still a long way to go to improve the quality of life of Andalusians.

-The President of the Nation promised a fair regional loan if he arrived in Moncloa. However, it is a deficit that has been dragging on since the Zapatero era, and Rajoy left and now Sanchez…

– The big difference is that the Andalusian People’s Party has always demanded the same thing. When we were in the opposition and there was a PP government in Spain, Juanma Moreno had the courage to stand up and go to Madrid and demand exactly the same thing that the ruling party, the Socialist Party, had demanded, with María Jesús Montero as a branch advisor. Now it’s getting to the country, which depends on the country, and they haven’t moved a single piece of paper to fix this.

We understand that it is a complex negotiation, but this temporary equalization fund of 1.5 billion euros could be created in order to resolve the issue and ensure that Andalusia does not lose the resources it needs. And those are all completely destructive criticisms.

-Moreno argues that instead of getting mired in political opponents, we should respond with data “to erase bad stories.”

– Our duty is to convey this message in the best possible way and strive to achieve stability in Andalusia and prove to the Andalusians that the only option to continue moving forward is Juanma Moreno. In contrast, what can other parties running for election offer there? That’s the big question.

Anyone can more or less interpret what the People’s Party says in its election campaign, but what is the PSOE going to say? Every day, María Jesús Montero says no when Andalusian society asks her to provide her with sufficient funds, which is the average for all autonomous communities. Moreover, what the country is doing is providing special and independent funds to Catalonia, to the secessionists, with quotas for secessionists. That’s why every survey ranks her as the least rated leader, with her highest rating being 3.6.

Then there are other political parties like Vox. They are here with a national story, but they do not have their own story about Andalusia, they do not offer any proposals, it is a very radical message and what they want is to wear down the government.

These two parties have different but similar frequencies for various reasons. Because it’s the same tone and the same melody that you hear in speech. Those who support extremism and those who seek to disrupt it find themselves in the same place.

――Is Vox your partner for the Populist Party?

– Our real enemy is paralysis. And this paralysis can be caused either by the Socialist Party or by Vox. That’s the reality. We are already seeing the underlying message of instability in other self-governing communities that do not want to be governed. They fled at the first opportunity because they know that governing is very difficult and harsh and fierce criticism is much easier in politics.

In the face of that, the PSOE we have contributes absolutely nothing, and doesn’t even provide a solution. It’s all about projecting what they’ve done in the past: Eres, Faffe, corruption, and now presenting themselves as even more corrupt. Cordo, Santos Cerdan, and Maria Jesús Montero, who is always in the sauce for the stew.

–Is it not possible to reach a minimum agreement?

-And now both are trying to block the budget. It’s not like you can put your game here and remove it from here to improve it. No, blocking means you don’t need a budget. Vox is going to do that, and PSOE is going to do that. You’re playing the same score at different frequencies.

– How might the ongoing electoral cycle, including the elections in Extremadura and Castile and León, and the negotiations with Masson to withdraw from Valencia, potentially affect Andalusia?

-People need to understand that what Vox has brought to Castile and León and Extremadura is unstable. Budgets are not approved and new projects cannot be launched, which is the basis of autonomous communities. He is interested in the national message and little else, but now he is bringing anger to Andalusian politics. I argue that our country is an island and that if Andalusia has anything that sets it apart, it is its stability, which has led to the economic and social miracle of all of Spain.

-The main vote drain to Vox is from PP, but are we starting to detect this movement from PSOE as well?

– Once the election period begins, the movement of these votes will actually become confidential. Now those are nuances. In any case, it is very important that a huge majority at all levels is clear about one thing: the chairman of the Andalusian military government must continue to be Juanma Moreno. It’s repeated in every poll.

– Is there a chance that Juanma Moreno will make the leap to Madrid and lead a national project?

– He always says that his project is Andalusia, it is his dream in politics.

– Is there an expiration date?

– I see him strong, enthusiastic, working 15, 16 hours in Andalusia every day until the last moment.

-His super-leadership means that no successor or potential successor is under consideration.

-We have clear leadership now and into the future. Talking about a different future other than Juanma Moreno in the Andalusian Popular Party or the Board seems like an idea to me.
