A 46-year-old man with an outstanding arrest warrant for rape was arrested on Tuesday (November 11) by military police of the 4th BPM (Guara). The fugitive was captured in the same administrative district as the police force.

The team was alerted by a member of the public who reported that a homeless man was making noise and causing a disturbance near the commercial area of Guara II.
After checking the system at the scene, police discovered the suspect had an active warrant for his arrest for rape. During the approach, he not only resisted arrest, but also disrespected and offended the military. The man was arrested and taken to Police Station 1 (Assur).
At the police station, it was discovered that the fugitive had multiple convictions for robbery, theft and contempt, in addition to being a suspect in another rape case.
