Jakarta (ANTARA) – Sad news comes from the world of sport, especially boxing. Ricky Hatton, former world champion nicknamed “The hitman“, has reportedly died. The British boxer was found dead at his residence in Hyde, Greater Manchester, on Sunday morning (14/09) at around 06:45 local time.
The news was also confirmed by Greater Manchester Police. In their official statement they said: “We can confirm that a body was found at the address Bowlacre Road, Gee Cross at 06.45am on Sunday 14 September. This death is not being treated as a suspicious case,” the police wrote in an official statement.
