Jakarta (ANTARA) – Have you ever thought that the applications we use every day on mobile phones, both Android and iOS, are not only created by local companies, or even by American technology giants? In fact, a number of popular applications that are often used in Indonesia were actually developed by Israeli companies.
Some were even made by former members of the country’s special military units, known to have experience in the field of intelligence and technology. From navigation applications to digital security, its name is already familiar to Indonesian users.
Interestingly, most people may not be aware that these applications actually contain traces of this country in the Middle East. So what are these applications? Read in full below based on information gathered from various sources.

A series of mobile applications from Israel:
Some of these applications apparently originated from the hands of former members of Unit 8200, a special division of the Israeli army known for focusing on intelligence and cyber operations.
There’s also one started by alumni of Mamram, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) computing center that produces many world-class tech talent. The following is an explanation of both:
