Profile of Onad, a musician arrested for suspected drug abuse

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Indonesian musician, Leonardo Arya or often called Onad, was arrested from Polda Metro Jaya on Thursday evening (30/10) around 10pm WIB together with his wife Beby Prisilia while they were doing their usual activities.

The arrest was made on suspicion of drug abuse at his residence in the Rempoa area of East Ciputat, South Tangerang.

During the arrest, the Polda Metro Jaya team found marijuana contained in a small plastic clip.

In addition to the marijuana, a piece of paper, a small box, three cell phones and evidence of consumed ecstasy, believed to have been consumed, were also found at the crime scene.

This was stated by the head of public relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Brigadier General Ade Ary Syam Indradi, while meeting in Jakarta on Friday (31/10).

This figure whose full name is Onadio Leonardo was born on January 4, 1990 in Jakarta. He is a public figure in Indonesia who is not only involved as a musician, but also as a host, actor and YouTuber.

Onad’s career in entertainment began when he formed and raised a band called Killing Me Inside in 2005.

At that time, he became the bassist and his partner Rendy as the drummer, he had the desire to form an emo band.

The band Killing Me Inside also entered the world of music with 5 members, namely Onad (bassist), Rendy (drummer), Josaphat Klemens (guitarist), Raka Cyril Damar (guitarist) and Fauzan or often called Sansan (singer).

The presence of the band Killing Me Inside proved to be positively received by its fans.

In fact, one of the peaks occurred when they released an album in 2009 with the title “A Fresh Start for Something New” and “The Tormented” as one of its highlight songs.

However, the band born from his dream had to experience several conflicts due to the departure of many of its members.

The band continued to struggle until they reached another peak of glory and managed to appear on television programs with the song entitled “Let It Be”.
