Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Predator franchise has once again attracted the attention of its fans after its latest film, “Predator: Badlands”, officially hits theaters in November 2025.

It all started with John McTiernan’s classic film Predator. Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger along with Carl Weathers, Jesse Ventura, Bill Duke and Shane Black, this film shows an elite military team terrorized by unseen creatures in the wilds of South America.

4. “Predator 2” (1990)

5. “AVP: Alien vs. Predator” (2004)

7. “Predators” (2010)

Human characters who are kidnapped and deemed “professional killers” are forced to survive in the conflict between two competing Predator clans. The time period is not specified in the film, but is usually placed around the beginning of the 21st century, making it suitable for viewing after the Requiem.
8. “The Predator” (2018)
This time Shane Black returns, not as an actor, but as a director and writer. The story brings the Predator back to Earth. A group of soldiers must face two Predators at once, while the Yautja try to perform genetic engineering to improve their abilities.
9. “Predator: Badlands” (2025)
This film is set on a remote planet nicknamed the Badlands. The story follows a young predator named Dek who was exiled because he was deemed not to have fulfilled his nature as an honorable hunter. During his journey, Dek meets Thia, an android created by Weyland-Yutani who is damaged and hides a big secret.
The two then traveled from planet to planet in search of the strongest possible opponent until they could no longer defeat him. Badlands is a standalone film and has been screening in Indonesia since November 5, 2025.
