Jakarta (ANTARA) – In Islam, Allah SWT not only created humans, but also jinn as His creations that cannot be seen directly with the eyes.
Even though they live in a different realm than humans, jinn can still interact with or influence humans in all aspects of their lives, including domestic life.
There are many types of genies according to their tasks, one of which is the Dasim genie, known as a destroyer of family relationships.
So, what is genius Dasim and what are the signs of a family disturbed by this genius?
In Islamic literature, the genius Dasim is one of the devil’s children who often spreads disharmony in families.
This is like growing suspicion and prejudice towards your partner, turning affection into anger, and so on, which can ultimately lead to divorce between husband and wife.
Jin Dasim will always try to make your partner look bad, without remembering all the good things. Al-Munawi in the book Faidhul Qadir (1972, volume 2, page 503) also explains:
“As for the genius named Dasim, his task is to unite a man with his family, he makes the man look ashamed of his family and hates them.”
In fact, in addition to sowing incitement after marriage, the Dasim jinn also often incites couples who have not officially entered into a marriage contract.
There are many temptations given to couples to commit forbidden acts, such as being alone together or having illegal relationships.
So, the couple who was planning to get married was also instigated by the genie Dasim, so that the wedding did not take place.
After a couple gets married, the relationship usually seems strained. Because Dasim’s genius kept whispering so that husband and wife kept disagreeing.
In an authentic hadith, it is stated that jinn will tempt a couple until they get divorced. In Islam, divorce is allowed, but it is highly detested and hated by Allah SWT.
Jinn prefer humans who are on the wrong path and violate the rules of Allah SWT. The devil who can carry out this temptation is called the best devil.
“From Jabir, he said: The Prophet Muhammad SAW said: ‘Indeed Satan placed his throne on the water. Then he sent his troops. Those who were closest to Satan in position were the ones who were most tempted. Among them were those who reported: “I have done this and that.” The devil replied: “You have done nothing.” Another person reported: “I did not leave him until I succeeded in divorcing his wife.” Then Satan approached him and said: “You are the best of Satan”‘” (Hadith History of Muslim).
Although it does not directly say that the genie is the genius Dasim, this hadith explains that the whispers of the genie can influence the domestic vessel.
A sign of a family disturbed by Dasim’s genius
Here are some signs that a family is being interfered with by Jinn Dasim:
1. Husband or wife often thinks negatively, whether they often feel doubtful, have bad prejudices, are easily suspicious, or have other negative thoughts about their partner.
2. The atmosphere in the house is always full of emotions, where the husband or wife finds it difficult to control their emotions, so quarrels often occur which can cause small problems and end up becoming big problems.
3. The husband and wife who were disturbed by Jin Dasim did not seek a solution to the problems they were experiencing, but instead blamed each other.
4. Discomfort, tension, anxiety or restlessness when at home, for no apparent reason.
5. There is a long-standing misunderstanding towards your partner, so it will be difficult to understand each other. Jin Dasim will have the task of worsening communication.
6. It is difficult to be solemn during prayer, where the husband or wife will have difficulty remembering the rak’ah, their thoughts will be confused, so that worship will prevent them from getting closer to Allah SWT.
7. Reduced faith or there is always disobedience in the home, one of which is difficulty in performing the 5 daily prayers. This strong temptation of Satan will distance him from Allah SWT, so that a person will weaken in faith and fall into his temptation.
8. Frequently experiencing sleep disturbances and nightmares, such as violence and repeated arguments. This happens because Dasim’s genie uses these dreams to instill hatred or fear towards the partner, which ultimately worsens the relationship between the two.
With this sign, Islam teaches that the best protection from all the temptations of Satan is to get closer to Allah SWT.
If you feel that your family is experiencing problems for no apparent reason, immediately ask Allah SWT for help by saying istighfar, performing ablution, dhikr and reading the Quran. Then, perform the Sunnah prayers.
The best protector is only Him. Apart from this, try to lower your ego and improve your relationship with your partner.
Maintaining domestic harmony is not only the responsibility of the couple, but also a form of worship to Allah SWT.
