Starting this Monday, Measure will expand the system’s coverage and maintain integration with TRI cards.
The city of Porto Alegre will begin a new phase of public transport improvements this Monday (10th). The Municipality and Urban Mobility Secretariat (SMMU) has confirmed the extension of the route A09 – Restinga Nova/Restinga Velha, which will also serve Clara Nunes Street and Jesús Oliveira Silva Street, strengthening services in the southern region of the capital.
The changes will see the route linking the Tobago and Nirowolf terminals along Avenida Engenheiro Oscar de Oliveira Ramos, benefiting both residents and new local businesses. New stopping points have been created to improve access and optimize passenger circulation.
TRI cards continue to offer fare consolidation, allowing passengers to pay just one fare within the system. This action is part of the Mais Transporte Program, the municipality’s initiative to make public transport more efficient and adaptable to residents’ demands.
