Antonio Álvarez del Pino, Poster Artist for “The Eucharist of Seville” 2026

(Cádiz, 1979). He holds a degree in fine arts from the Santa Isabel de Hungarian School of Fine Arts in Seville. in the specialty of painting. He also completed a training cycle in sculpture and graphic techniques at the School of Arts and Crafts in Cadiz. He took several courses of varying lengths taught at the University of Seville and the University of Cadiz, all related to art and restoration.

He has worked with various institutions. In 2014, The City Council of Cadiz unanimously commissioned him to create the official portrait of King Felipe VI. Preside over the plenary session.

Previously, In 2008, the Rector of Seville purchased his work “Newton’s Apples” for the Brazil Pavilion. In 2010, he received a scholarship to participate as a figurative artist in the Spanish Music Competition, and his work has been exhibited at the Cadiz Museum, the Granada Superior Conservatory, and the Andalusian Congress.

He has participated in exhibitions in different cities of Andalusia.especially from Seville and the province of Cadiz. Among them, the exhibition “Great Power: The Face of Jesus” stands out. The exhibition was held during Lent and Holy Week 2023 at the Casa de la Provincia in the Regional Parliament of Seville and was a great success.

His painting practice focuses on portraits for public and private institutions, as well as individual and group exhibitions on a variety of themes. Among them is a planned private facility dedicated to post-war sex scenes, scheduled to open in January 2025 outside Cádiz’s central market, where famous painters such as Marina Anaya, Cecilio Chavez and Eva Armisen have recently been exhibited.

With Seville painter Daniel Franca, He illustrated the 2025 Pulegón de la Semana Santa de Sevilla book. In 2024, he delivered a painting to the parish of La Candelaria (Tres Barrios) in Seville in commemoration of the holy mission of Jesús del Gran Podel. He is a Brother of the Brotherhood of Great Powers, whose collection also includes paintings of which he is the author.

In addition to my passion for painting, He is a lecturer on a variety of artistic topics. Since 2020, I have been teaching courses in a permanent classroom at the University of Cadiz.
