Under the first option, R$206.88 will be paid in cash, the price will be updated, and R$22.99 will be paid when the retained portion payable to the controlling shareholder becomes due, i.e. if certain conditions agreed between the company and the former controlling shareholder are complied with. In the second option, the full amount is paid in cash on the settlement date.
Tecno had previously announced in a statement that the price paid for Carlos Borges’ shares was R$228.88. The company clarified today that 229.87 reais is the correct value.
